Barriere’s Dave Stutt won the Top Teamster Award at the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo over the Labour Day Weekend. Stutt also attended the Interior Provincial Exhibition in Armstrong where he won all three heavy horse pulls with his team.

Heavy Horse Pull:  1st - Calvin Buchta, Prince George; 2nd - Dave Stutt, Barriere; 3rd - Gordie McKenzie, Fort St. John.

Single Log Skid: 1st - Amber Zuk, Clearwater; 2nd - Dave Stutt; 3rd - Derek Romanowich, Notch Hill.  Team Log Skid: 1st - Gilbert Murphy, 150 Mile House; 2nd - Dave Stutt; 3rd - Brian Lawson, Armstrong.  Gelding Halter:  1st - Jason Watt, Quesnel;  2nd - Derek Romanowich; 3rd - Dave Stutt.  Mare Halter:  1st Brian Lawson; 2nd - Danielle MacIntosh, Armstrong.  Stallion Halter:  1st - Amber Zuk;  2nd - Dave Stutt.  Supreme Champion Halter - Jason Watt; Reserve Champion - Amber Zuk.  Team Driving ‘Louis Sauer Memorial’:  1st - Derek Romanowich; 2nd - Dave Stutt; 3rd - Gilbert Murphy.  Novice Driving ‘Betty Elliot Memorial’:  1st - Wilson Hlina, Sorrento; Danielle MacIntosh.  Single Driving: 1st - Angie Threatful, Revelstoke.  Top Teamster Trophy Buckle (donated by Dan Fraser, Royal LePage Realty, Kamloops) for most accumulated points in Draft Horse Show:  Dave Stutt.
