The fairs are over, our record books are done, and the whole club is super happy with how we did this year.
At the B.C. Agricultural Exposition, all of our members showcased their goat, photography, rabbit, beef and sheep projects and placed very well with all of them. Our beef, sheep, and photography members had successful sales with our projects, and we would like to thank everyone who supported us at the auction. On top of each individual member doing well with their project, the sheep club also won top overall Sheep Aggregate.
In the last few weeks our club has been finishing up last minute details and already preparing for next year.
We have voted in our 2019 club executive, and the leaders have been working hard to finish up anything they need to do before the Yellowhead 4-H club banquet. The banquet is where all of the members come for an evening full of awards and to look over the past year.
2018 has been an awesome year for all of us, and everyone from Yellowhead would like to thank our sponsor “Stamer Logging” for supporting us for yet another year.
