The Pelayo family from McLure have been busy this month, reporting that on Oct. 5, they participated in a concert in Vancouver in celebration of Noel Pelayo and daughter, Karina’s, birthday. It was called Celebration of Life; and was used as a ministry, as well as an opportunity to raise funds to help a church in the Philippines, and an institution for the handicapped called Cotolengo, also in the Philippines. The family says the group might be performing in Kamloops next year.
