Poppy campaign now underway in Barriere

The launch of the annual Legion Branch 242 Poppy Campaign took place on the last Friday of October when District of Barriere Mayor Ward Stamer was formally pinned in council chambers with a Remembrance Day Poppy by Legion Branch 242 representative Linn Buker. Poppies will now be on sale throughout the community until Nov. 11, Remembrance Day.
