Barriere Secondary School scholarships and bursaries were presented during Commencement Ceremonies on June 24, 2022, held in the Barriere Curling Rink.
Interior Savings Credit Union provided nine scholarships of $1,000 each that were presented by Interior Savings Insurance Manager Holly Fenrick.
The Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society awarded nine scholarships and bursaries this year.
“The Lower North Thompson Community Forest Society (LNTCFS) has handed out a quarter of a million dollars ($250,000) in scholarships and bursaries since 2011 to 113 Barriere graduates,” said presenter Gai Conan who is a board member of the LNTCFS.
