Princesses say thank you

North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo 2011, pageant

To Barriere and North Thompson Valley residents;

The time has come for us to say farewell and proudly lay our crowns upon the heads of Barriere’s new North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo Princesses.

This year has been nothing short of a whirlwind of excitement and growth. We have been given the opportunity to experience so many new and wonderful communities and to meet “sparkle heads” from all over the province while representing our District of Barriere.

It has been an honour to represent Barriere, and nothing feels better than having someone come up to us and ask where we are from.

The people of Barriere have been so supportive, our sponsors, friends and family have made this year a memorable one.

Thank you to the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo for sponsoring such an amazing program that continues to give our youth life changing opportunities. This program allows our youth to develop skills that will last forever and have a ton of fun doing it.

We recommend all Barriere girls wanting to join to take from the program all things positive and use the time to grow as young ladies and enjoy the experiences you will encounter. The program of course would not be possible without the endless hours of volunteers who support the pageant, and the hard work of the coordinators.

To our Queen Alex, it has been a great year and we wish you the best of luck in your decision to represent Barriere in the BC  Ambassador Program; you and your beautiful smile will do our community proud.

Although this marks the end of our reign, it is not goodbye. Barriere is our home and our community is our family.

Thank you to all, and best wishes and congratulations to the new NTFFRA Royalty.

We are, and forever will be, your 2010-2011 North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo
