Congratulations to Pat Brown of Barriere!  Pat Brown was the lucky winner of half a cut and wrapped lamb from the Provincial Winter Fair Society draw held at the North Thompson Fall Fair.  The other half the lamb will be donated to the Food Bank. The prize lamb will be purchased by the PWF Society at the Live Auction held at the end of the fair Sept. 23 - 26 at the North Thompson Agriplex. This prize and donation to the Food Bank has been made possible by the generous support of Maureen and Barry Brady, Brady Ranches, Barriere, B.C.

There will be another chance to win a whole lamb at the live auction on Sept. 26! The Provincial Winter Fair Society is very thankful for the community support we have received, and to help show our appreciation, we are having a prize draw for our buyers. The auction will feature 4-H and Open Beef, Lamb, Goat, Photography and Clothing projects from contributors showing at the Fair.   All buyers at the auction will be entered into a draw for a whole lamb, and those who buy multiple projects will increase their chances to win! This draw is also made possible by the sponsorship of Maureen and Barry Brady.

Please join us at Provincial Winter Fair Sept. 23 – 26 at the North Thompson Agriplex.  Spend the weekend watching 4-H youth show their projects and connect with the local agriculture community.  All interested buyers are welcome to attend the Buyers Breakfast sponsored by the Royal Bank at the Barriere Curling Rink Sept. 26 starting 7:30 a.m. There will be Parade of Champions at 9 a.m. to highlight the successes during the weekend and the action sale will follow.   We look forward to seeing you at the fair!
