Sam’s Pizza & Rib House received some exciting news at Christmas when there restaurant won one of four $5000 prizes in the Barilla Western Canada division contest that they entered with Chef Chris’s Chicken Marsala dish.
Chicken Marsala is a grilled chicken bread with sautéed mushrooms and onions, cooked in a Marsala wine.
“We finish this dish with tomatoes and green onions and serve it with garlic butter noodles,” says Chef Chris Wohlgemuth.
Sam’s is a family enterprise, with Chef Chris and wife Ashley fully involved with their winning enterprise.
Currently they are open Wednesday’s to Sunday’s from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. The restaurant has four tables of six in the dining room, and also provides an active takeout and delivery service as well. Delivery is available between 4 – 8:30 p.m.
