Santa coming to Barriere for breakfast on Dec. 17

The 9th Annual Breakfast with Santa coming Dec. 17 at lions Hall

The 9th Annual Breakfast with Santa, hosted by Success By 6, Aboriginal Engagement Success, and the Barriere Lions Club will take place on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Lions Hall in Barriere (corner of Borthwick and Lilly Road)

The event is sponsored by Success By Six, the Barriere Lions Club, Interior Savings and Credit Union, Barriere and Area Literacy Outreach, and numerous community businesses and organizations.

Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a buffet style pancake, sausage and fruit brunch prepared and served up by the Lions Club.

There will be crafts for kids, children’s activities and entertainment.

Kids can have their picture taken with Santa Claus as well, with a suggested donation for pictures of $3.

Breakfast will be served from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Pictures with Santa will be taken from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.,  and 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Crafts for kids is underway 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and entertainment will be from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.

Success By 6 is donating all proceeds from this years’ breakfast to the Barriere and District Food Bank to support their Christmas Hampers for families in our community.

Admission donations are also appreciated but not required. Monetary donations and non-perishable food items gratefully accepted.
