Another gathering for little children took place in the community in December at Barriere Elementary (BES) when the Strong Start program had a Christmas party.
The party was a wonderful place for babies to four years old, gathered together with parents and caregivers, and numerous picture takers.
Santa Claus attended, as well as an Elf and Mrs. Claus; all provided by BES students Nicholas McInnes, Sammy Williams, and Audrey Kibble respectively.
The children were excited when Santa arrived, but found a little shyness about sitting on his knee ( which Santa was also a little shy about). Each youngster was then called out individually and received a small gift, as the party continued.
