There’s Carpet Bowling - up to eight people per carpet (four at each end) can play this game.  As you come in your name is put into a bowl, then, when everyone is ready, names are drawn to form the teams for the day.  Two to three games are played each day.  They meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 10 a.m.  A Fun Tournament for the end of October is currently being planned.

Earlier this month, three members, Ernie Yungen, and Anke and Louis Zijderveld, attended the BC Seniors Games in Langley, where they received gold medals in the Men and Women’s 55+ Team of Three in the Carpet Bowling competitions.

For more information about Carpet Bowling, contact Donna at 250-672-5656.
