Barriere Strong Start facilitator Miette Koeneman says, “I was wanting to get the Barriere Fire Department to come in to do an outside presentation for my Strong Start youngsters. But I decided to go virtual instead.”
Koeneman says she asked Barriere Fire Chief Ashley Wohlgemuth if a video could be done so the youngsters could watch and learn from it. Wohlgemuth wholeheartedly agreed, and Captain Alexis gladly made the video for the kids.

Koeneman says, “The Chief also gave us enough goodie bags that I delivered to both kindergarten classes and will be handing them out to our registered Strong Start families as well.”
