The Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce is also taking part in Late Night Shopping by partnering with Interior Savings and the Barriere RCMP Detachment to host a ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ event.

‘Stuff The Cruiser’ will start at 3 p.m. in the Chamber parking lot just north of Interior Savings. Barriere RCMP members, Cst. Camalush and Cst. Hunt will be on site with their police cruisers and are inviting area residents to “come on down and stuff the cruisers” with non-perishable food items, toys, gifts, and more for the Barriere Food Bank.

“We are challenging all businesses, groups, clubs, teams, schools, and more to collect items for the cruiser and bring them down and “stuff the cruiser”,” says Chamber office administrator Lianne Hamblin. “We will also have someone on site to take pictures, so if you send some representatives of your group down and let us know who you represent, we will take your photo and post it on our social media letting everyone know that you supported this awesome event.”

If you would like more information about this event please call the Chamber at 250-672-9221.
