Summer is extended at TNRD Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations

A number of Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations now have their summer hours extended by an additional month, until Oct. 31, 2022. In a press release the TNRD states, “These solid waste facilities will now transition to winter hours each year beginning on Nov. 1.”

These changes were approved by the TNRD board of directors following a review of solid waste facility hours in 2021, which included a public survey that was completed by more than 700 residents.

“These additional hours will now better reflect activities in these communities and help meet demand,” said the release.
