Sometimes life can be a beach, thanks to the caring staff at Yellowhead Pioneer Assisted Living in Barriere who recently provided a week long tropical paradise for their residents.
With temperatures below zero and snow falling outside, it is hard to imagine that inside the surf was up and the palm trees were swaying. Residents turned out to participate in events, be entertained, socialize, and feel the warm tropical sun on their faces.
“Staff also provided COVID friendly activities like flower making, painting class, bingo, comedy hour, and then finished off the week with a photo booth,” reported Krista Thomas, Acting Assisted Living Manager, Yellowhead Pioneer Residence.
Did it really happen?
Of course, here are the pictures to prove it!
