Nine-year-old Teagan Allen spent all weekend volunteering at the Agricultural Expo, in Barriere.
Her grandma, Judy Lane, said she’s been a big help during the event.
“She runs and picks up poop and she pushes that big wheelbarrow through here,” said Lane.
Allen said she’s also helped with the ribbons.
She isn’t part of a 4-H group, but she is involved with the Barriere & District Riding Club.
When asked what her favourite part of the expo was, Allen smiled and replied, “Seeing all the sheep, yeah, and the horses.”
Allen said they have two horses at home, plus one they are renting for the year, and that she wants to ride horses when she grows up.
