As Bruce Clary steps back from the position of head pharmacist at Barriere IDA, Steve Wowchuk will be taking up the reins.
Wowchuk is not a stranger to the pharmacy’s clients, saying he’s been a regular pharmacist behind the counter for the past three or four years.
Wowchuk says the transition will be made as smooth as possible for pharmacy clients; noting there are three full-time staff, two part-time and one or two students. Bruce Clary will also be back two or three days a week.
Wowchuk currently resides in Kam-loops, and says he loves to play hockey, has a great girlfriend, and also has a dog.
“I encourage people to feel free to talk to me at anytime, I’m always willing to speak with customers about their medications, other health concerns – anything,” said Wowchuk.
