Writer-in-residence Gail Anderson-Dargatz to visit Barriere Library

Writer in Residence, Gail Anderson-Dargatz  will be visiting Barriere Library on Sept. 14 at 12:30 and everyone is welcome.

The Barriere Library will be hosting the Thompson Nicola Regional Library (TNRL) writer-in-residence on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 12:30 p.m. Gail Anderson-Dargatz will discuss her in-progress manuscript as well as her bestseller The Almost Widow.

Gail is an internationally recognized author with a diverse body of work spanning multiple entries and numerous awards. With extensive experience in mentorship and workshops, she inspires both writers and readers alike. Her latest book, The Almost Widow (2023), follows the book of the same name from 2021 and was shortlisted for the 2024 Crime Writers of Canada Howard Engel Award for Best Crime Novel Set in Canada. 

Anderson-Dargatz resides in the Shuswap region of south-central B.C. and draws inspiration from the landscape around her. She is a proud member of The Writers' Union of Canada, the Federation of BC Writers, and Crime Writers of Canada.
