The Barriere and District Riding Club’s Family Day event at the North Thompson Agriplex on Feb. 18 was a hit with families and their kids. Even the bitterly cold temperatures that day did not prevent people from attending, and even the horses were all decked out for the event.
There were numerous horse events and even stick horse events for the kids and the daults as well.
A number of vendors were set up inside the banquet hall, with hot food and refreshments being served, and where kids could find games and crafts to entertain them.
This was the Club’s second annual event and by all apprearances it seems like everyone is already looking forward to the next one in 2020.
