NT Fall Fair
The North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo are proud to bring back “Zucchini Races” Labour Day weekend Sept. 2, 3, and 4. Preliminary races begin Saturday during the Fair at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. and will run Sunday at the same times.
Monday all the winners of these races will race to win at 1 p.m., competing for various gifts and cash prizes. The track will be set up by the Lions Booth just across from the Fall Fair Hall. The track will be set up a week before the fair if you would like to come down and have a trial run!
Find a good set of wheels, build your Racer ahead of time and bring it with you to the fair. You can use any fruit or vegetable but zucchini works the best.
Try and keep your racer no bigger then six inches across and 14 inches long for best results on the track. There are no age categories and everyone, any age, is welcome to enter. Build your racer on your own or with a friend, but make sure to decorate your creation and give it a name for racing purposes. Challenge a friend and lets get racing!!!

Sooo C’mon Barriere, we are just a few weeks away from the 74th North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo and we are still looking for volunteers in all areas.
It is great when this community comes together to host this wonderful Fair, but it can’t happen without the hands of many dedicated volunteers! The decorating committee has been meeting Thursday and Fridays at the fall fair hall working on the Bee theme, painting and creating and would love some new ideas and help.
Volunteers are needed to help at the Bingo, the gates, kids areas, selling 50/50 tickets and much much more. Reach out to a Fall Fair member, visit our office set up at Little & Large Liquidations or come down to the Fair grounds and we will gladly find a place for you! “Bee at the Fair” most everyone will bee there!
