My name is Lance Naylor and I love the people and the community of Barriere. I have been a school bus driver (recently retired) and pastor in town for many years. I enjoy golfing at Chinook Cove and play hockey when I can get in on some shinny games in Kamloops.

With your vote it would be a privilege to serve you on council in Barriere. I have spent plenty of time in meeting rooms planning and strategizing to reach a better future.

I am a TEAM member: Together Everyone Accomplishes More. My skills are listening, learning, and leading. I will listen to what your concerns are, learn what the solutions are, and lead with understanding and knowledge.

There have been challenges with the water, housing and rental development, and a small tax base. No doubt there are complexities to these issues, but I believe new voices on council would provide opportunity for fresh perspectives. Can I count on your vote to be that voice?

Yes, the North Thompson has been ignored by the federal and provincial government. I am sure Frank Caputo (federal Conservative MP) and Peter Milobar (provincial Liberal MLA) could enlighten us on the topic.

Communicate with the provincial government. Find solutions concerning the frustration and anger over the sad consequences of the deterioration of the health care services in Barriere and the North Thompson.
