Hello Barriere citizens,

It’s been an honour serving on council this past term. In the last few years, we were faced with many challenges. From the complexities of COVID to the water situation, there were important decisions to be made.

Growing up in Barriere and raising our family here reflects my commitment to our community. As a parent, a former construction business owner, and a volunteer , I am dedicated to the betterment of our town. As your city councillor, I will continue to prioritize fiscal responsibility – with accountability and transparency. Infrastructure improvements and upgrades are essential to keep our community healthy and progressive. With that in check, we can focus on recreation and community events. Furthermore, I will continue our collaborative working relationship with Simpcw First Nation as we continue to support Truth and Reconciliation.

Most importantly, I will continue to advocate for health care and housing. As a rural area, it is important to continue to pressure the Regional Health Authority and the provincial government to find solutions that address our current crisis.

I am dedicated to being your representative. With council experience, a great work ethic and the track record I have shown in the past, I hope I have continued to earn your support.
