Vancouver Island singer songwriters Saskia Delaronde and Nathan Tinkham performed to the delight of the audience during another fantastic Wells Gray Lively Arts Summer Stage evening of music, vendors and classic cars on display on Thurs. Aug. 22.
This musical duo has entertained in communities in the Yukon, Alaska, Texas and throughout Canada playing Canadian folk, cowboy and country that warms the hearts of everyone privileged to hear them play.
Wells Gray Lively Arts member and photographer, Geoff Ellen, says, “Nothing like listening to some of the best yodelling ever pulsing through the still night air. Of note was Nathan’s guitar, a Martin, 1986 M38 Grand Auditorium (semi-educated guess) used to create an individual lead style which I would call forward looking backwards country. Loved the sound and the style on this enjoyable family evening listening to their melodic impressions.”
