BC Wildfire Service has marked a 123-hectare fire 30 kilometres east of Wells as out of control.
The fire was first discovered July 18, the cause of it is believed to be lightning the BCWS website says.
The BCWS says there are ground crews and air support responding to the fire. They have a full response in place which is done when there is a threat to public safety or infrastructure, such as timber. During a full response BCWS works until the fire is deemed out.
There are no evacuation alerts or orders in place due to the fire.
