To the Editor;

With sadness I am writing to inform fellow grads and friends that we have come to the conclusion that we will need to cancel the 50th Graduation Reunion in August. We were hoping that by August things would be improved enough in regards to Covid-19 and that we could still have the reunion. However, yesterday we have been informed that there are more restrictions being added: that all provincial campgrounds will be close to everyone except residents of B.C.

This may have been a problem for the ones who were planning to attend from Alberta and other places. There is also the possibility that there would have been more than 50 people attending and as of now the limit is still 50 people together with social distancing.

We were looking forward with great anticipation and excitement to seeing people whom some of us have not seen since graduation. We are sorry that we have to make this decision which was not made in haste or without much thought. Taking into consideration all the regulations that have been placed on each one of us it seems to be the best solution to not hold the graduation reunion as planned.

Thank you all for your support. We look forward to the day when we will be able to travel, visit and get together in the future without all the restrictions. Stay safe and healthy.
