To the Editor;

Wow, thank you Clearwater for coming out and supporting the Greer Subdivision Circuit Yard Sales held August 9. The response was overwhelming with people from Kamloops, Blue River, McLure and Barriere to name a few.

Overwhelming, crazy, exciting, unbelievable were some of the words used to describe the amount of people who took the time to come out and enjoy a beautiful day in Clearwater.

Thirteen families participated and 10 different addresses. Everyone was good with social distancing and just enjoying a beautiful day. New people were shocked at what a beautiful area Clearwater and Greer is with some people just moving to town, here to work for the pipeline, and some who just drove past on their way to the park.

Huge thank you to Alix and Scott Sych for coming up with there food truck Backcountry Bowls, people really enjoyed there food and loved the idea to grab a snack and continue shopping.

We are hoping to make this an annual event, including Candle Creek Road area and Barber. Which will make it a full circuit for treasures. Please contact me if interested in getting your name and address on the list for next year.

Next years date is planned for Sept. 12, 2021.

Thanks again,

Fay McCracken
