The North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre (NTVIC) in Barriere are planning some volunteer training courses coming up in the near future. NTVIC says they will be offering a Food Safe Class, and are also willing to set up a Pathways to Competence course, a babysitting course and a first aid course if enough people are interested.
Thanks to the members of the North Thompson Art Council who will be instructing the youth, acrylic painting classes for youth from grade 4 to 10 will be taking place at NTVIC on March 19 and 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is nominal and all supplies will be provided, but participants should wear older clothing in case of any spills. Please register with NTVIC by March 8.
