Lunafix is a Barriere B.C., based band featuring Barriere residents Dustin Doherty on drums, Hannah Jessica Lynn on lead vocals and keyboard, Tyler Hall Chevrefils on bass and vocals,  and Kamloops resident  James Acton on lead guitar and vocals.

Lunafix is a rock/pop cover band with 30 to 40 songs in their repertoire and they are looking to put out some original songs in the  future.

The  band currently has three shows under their belts but the combined experience of the members is quite impressive.

Dustin Doherty is well known for his time as a drummer in Zen Rising.  Zen Rising had several radio hits back in 2009 and were a pretty popular band in the interior of B.C.

Tyler Hall Chevrefils was  the bassist for the well known rock band F.O.E. Full of Excuses, and James Acton has spent time with Another Sunday.   For Hannah Jessica Lynn, this is her first time performing in a band but she has been a musician and singer for years.

Lunafix plays a diverse blend of songs at their shows, ranging from Tom Petty to Sum 41, and Maroon 5  to The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and  from Toto to July Talk. They have a little bit of something for everyone and are constantly practicing new songs.

If you would like to help support this local band please check out Lunafix on Facebook or check out their next show at Pogue Mahones Irish Ale House in Kamloops on Nov. 19.
