Community Resource Centre has full line of winter courses

The Community Resource Centre in Clearwater is running a very busy Winter Course Calendar this year, with lots of new and interesting courses to choose from.  Besides the usual first aid courses and Thompson Rivers University credit courses, there is a “Building a Basic Web Page” course, a “Basic Bike Maintenance and Repair” course, and an “Avalanche Skill Training, Level 1” course - this last being very appropriate for the current weather situation in the Interior region.

For those who like to cook, (or eat) there are several delicious sounding courses: Sushi 101, Sushi 201, Valentine’s Baking, and Thai cooking; and for those who want to know what they are putting into their recipes, there is: More Vegetable Gardening Naturally.

Of course, if you are looking to do something a little more active, you can always try the Jive and Salsa Dancing course.

From learning about computers to advanced wilderness first aid, there are courses for everyone.  All courses are held at the Resource Centre unless otherwise stated in the course description.

You can pick up your copy of the Winter 2011 Course Calendar at the Community Resource Centre, or check out their website at www.crcnt.ca.
