The people of Barriere and all visitors to our wonderful town are invited to come and join us every month for a light lunch of delicious home-made soup, in a warm atmosphere where family and friends, young and old, can gather together.
Our community effort has been made possible by the volunteers of the various churches in Barriere and the donations of people who appreciate this monthly event.
Our annual “Christmas Banquet” has been sponsored and served by the Barriere Lions Club, working together with all the many volunteers from the various churches in our community. This turkey dinner and entertainment has become a very popular event.
Any donations we receive we are thankful for, and the proceeds are used to buy groceries for the following month - and also used for the Annual Christmas Banquet.
Remember: Monday, Oct. 17, Barriere Community Luncheon, 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m.. at Barriere’s Christian Life Assembly (across from the high school).
