NT Arts Council to host Predictable Patterns workshop

Workshops for area people the first of many this coming season

The North Thompson Arts Council (NTAC) is offering a series of two workshops on the Seven Predictable Patterns.

This two-part workshop teaches about the seven patterns found re-occurring in nature which point to a sustainable and more balanced way to focus creativity, make decisions, solve problems, communicate and organize your time, priorities, work and home.

The workshops will be presented by Eleanor Deckert, a freelance writer, mother of four, veteran home-schooler, and community volunteer from Avola.  She has been in business since 1994,  and has done numerous speaking tours through Canada and the USA.

Part one will be on October 25, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Saint James Catholic Church in Clearwater.  This workshop will be followed by a pot-luck dinner and the October general NTAC meeting.

Part two will be the following week, on November 1, from 6-8 p.m. in Barriere at the North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre in the Ridge.

Those wishing to register for the workshops can call Eleanor at 250-678-5305.

The NTAC is also looking forward to setting up more workshops throughout the coming year.  Anyone with suggestions on topics can bring their ideas to the next Arts Council meeting, or by contacting the group through their email - norththompsonartscouncil@yahoo.com.
