Thursday afternoon, on August 30, over 20 children partied at the Barriere Library. After doing a few crafts, the ribbons and awards were handed out for all those who had completed the summer reading program.
Linda Kelley drew the winners for the Barriere Library Summer Reading Club Grand Prize, with Hunter Bloomfield winning the scooter, and Cameron Salle winning the animal origami kit.
Every year there are lots of activities and prized for the youth who participate in the Summer Reading Club. Be sure to enter your children next summer.
