Thompson Valley Players putting out the call for interested people

An invitation to be part of Canada’s 150 celebrations

Thompson Valley Players

The Thompson Valley Players (TVP) are looking for people interested in participating in The Canada 150 Birthday Celebration.

The TVP goal is to create various skits, monologues, poems, songs and stories about our great country and perform them at events throughout the year.

We are looking for writers, actors, costume and set designers, people for lighting and sound effects, and much, much more.

If you just have a great idea you would like to share, come on out and be a part of this celebration theatre style.

Now is the time to get involved, we are just in the planning stages and there will be many tasks big and small with something for everyone.

The Thompson Valley Players have been performing in the North Thompson Valley since 1999, and we are always looking for new members with fresh ideas.

Our next meeting is Thursday, March 16 at 7 p.m. at The Ridge in the Volunteer Centre (4936 Barriere Town Road).  This is also our Annual General Meeting and we hope to get a fantastic turnout. Please come on down and bring a friend, all ages are welcome!

We are always in search of costumes and props as well, so if you have something interesting to donate please let us know.

For more information please call the North Thompson Volunteer and Information Centre at 250-672-0033.

Lets all celebrate Canada and showcase the pride and  great spirit of our beautiful North Thompson Valley!
