A motor vehicle crash occurred on Monday Sept. 9 along Hwy. 5 near Vinsulla at 1:46 p.m. involving two vehicles and resulting in three people being transported to Royal Inland Hospital with minor injuries.
"The injuries were non-life threatening, and the highway remained open in both directions following the crash. The accident occurred when a Chev pickup was turning left off Hwy. 5 at Vinsulla and was struck from behind by a Chrysler minivan. Three individuals were transported to the hospital. There are no charges pending," said Cpl. Kyle Camalush, detachment commander of the Barriere RCMP who attended the scene.
Camalush advises motorists to "drive with due care and attention" when travelling Hwy. 5 while heading into fall.
