Barb Buchanan has recently retired from School District No.73 after 31 years as a Certified Education Assistant, working with disabled and special needs children at all the schools in Barriere (including the Barriere Ridge) during those years. She has spent the last 20 years of her employment at Barriere Secondary.
Barriere Secondary principal Mr. Paul Hembling said, “We wish to thank Mrs. Buchanan for all her valuable service to our community and schools and wish her the very best in her retirement. She has been a consistent support for our students over many years, and she will be dearly missed.”
