The North Thompson Fish & Game Club Society hosted the BC Provincial FClass Championship this last weekend at their Gun Range off Gorman Lake Road.

Competitors attended from across British Columbia, braving scorching temperatures well into the high 30°C’s and beyond.

FClass is shot from the prone position at distance greater than 300m. This match was shot at 500 meters and 700 meters, using electronic targets that listen and then plot the bullet impact.

“Heat and challenging winds kept competitors on their toes,” commented one of the organizers.

Grand Aggregate winners of the FClass Championship were:

• FOpen - Don Piper of Barriere, B.C.

• FTR - Mathew Li of Surrey, B.C.
