Simpcw First Nation searching for stolen truck

Barriere RCMP are investigating a maintenance truck taken from the Simpcw First Nation maintenance shop

UPDATE: The truck was found on Friday, January 17 in Williams Lake according to Simpcw spokesperson, Ron Lampreau Jr. and is currently being inspected by ICBC. No further information at time of press. 

Simpcw First Nation is asking for the public to be on the lookout for a maintenance truck reportedly taken from the maintenance shop on Jan. 13.

A post asking for the public's help in locating the stolen vehicle states the vehicle was taken on Monday, Jan. 13 at 1:15 a.m.

The vehicle is a 2021 Ford F250 regular cab pickup truck with a Western plow and Western sander.

The vehicle was reported last seen heading south on Dunn Lake Road early Monday morning.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or its possible whereabouts is asked to contact the Barriere RCMP at 250-672-9918.
