The Strings Concert at Barriere Elementary School was attended by students and a good number of parents and family members.

The annual Christmas Lunch at Barriere Secondary has always been prepared and served by community groups organizations, or members of government. This year School District 73’s Superintendent of Schools Alison Sidow participated, as well as SD73 area Trustee Rhonda Kershaw. They joined other organizations such as the Barriere Lions Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion to join with the staff and students in sharing a Christmas meal together.
