The second annual Barriere Search and Rescue (BSAR) hosted Emergency Bonspiel took place on Saturday, March 8 at the Barriere Curling Club arena.
Teams from Kamloops Search and Rescue, Logan Lake Search and Rescue, the Kamloops RCMP, Barriere Forks Fire Brigade, the Barriere Volunteer Fire Department and Barriere SAR along with a mixed team participated in the day's events.
"All proceeds will go towards the Barriere Search and Rescue building upgrades to the new hall to better serve the community," said BSAR president Marc Tremblay. "We want to thank everyone who participated, the Barriere Curling Club and all of our local business sponsors for their contributions to the silent auction in making the event such a success."
