It was a great Fall Fair weekend, kids are back to school, and Sept. 3 was the second-to-last ladies' night of the year, with 31 ladies in attendance. Yes, we are trying to grasp on to summer evenings as long as we can. I say that, but I came to Ladies' Night in shorts and left with a blanket around my entire body. Maybe it is time to bring out the fall gear. But enough of that; let’s move on to all the winners of the night.
Hole 1: Long drive in two, Flight 1 went to Louise Lodge and long drive, Flight 2 went to Babes Shanko.
Hole 2: Long drive in 2, Flight 3 went to Jamie Mosdell and long drive in two, Flight 4 went to Theresa Robinson.
Hole 3: Long putt, open to all flights, went to Deb Winiski.
Hole 4: KP, Flight 1 went to Marla Muldoon and KP, Flight 2 went to Anita Hill.
Hole 5: Show off your long drive! Long drive, Flight 1 went to Louise Lodge. Long drive, Flight 2 went to Babes Shanko. Long drive, Flight 3 went to Karina Scott. Long drive, Flight 4 went to Nicole Huber.
Hole 6: KP, Flight 1 went to Susan Newberry and KP, Flight 2 went to Hailey Cocker.
Hole 7: Rest in Peace to all the balls the ladies put into the gully. Sue Syfchuck (2), Darlene Nickull (2), Barb Smith, Leslie Stirling (2), and Jamie Mosdell. Leslie did find her second ball on the other side. She was honest, so her honesty only gets one RIP package. KP in 2, split between Flights 1 and 2, went to Kathy Cook.
Hole 8: Long putt, Flight 4 went to Theresa Robinson.
Hole 9: Long putt, open to all flights, went to Laurie Hawley. Least number of putts, by retro, went to Leslie Stirling with 13 putts! Most number of putts went to Theresa Robinson with 24 putts.
On to to the flight winners!
Flight 1: Low gross went to Louise Lodge with a score of 38, and low net went to Marla Muldoon with a score of 38.5.
Flight 2: Low gross went to Cathy Paul, by retro, with a score of 50, and low net went to Laurie Hawley with a score of 33.5.
Flight 3: Low gross went to Karina Scott, by retro, with a score of 54, and low net went to Jenn Coulthard, by retro, with a score of 36.
Flight 4: Low gross went to Theresa Robinson with a score of 64, and second low gross went to Betty Foote with a score of 65.
We had two birdies on Tuesday evening brought by Louise Lodge. Louise started her game with a birdie and ended it with a birdie. Everyone in Flight 3 seems to have got a memo to get a chip-in on Sept. 3. Leslie Stirling had a chip-in on Hole 3, Karina Scott had a chip-in on Hole 1, and Jean Webber had a chip-in on Hole 9. In Flight 4, Sue Syfchuck had a chip-in on Hole 3.
