Line up at Hungry Horse Cafe

The North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds in Barriere, was a busy place again last weekend when the BC Cattle Penning Association took over the facility for the second time this year with two fast moving days of penning competitions that provided a purse of $70,000 to the top teams.

The North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds in Barriere, was a busy place again last weekend when the BC Cattle Penning Association took over the facility for the second time this year with two fast moving days of penning competitions that provided a purse of $70,000 to the top teams.

Laura Mairs Hungry Horse Cafe did a booming business all weekend, with both riders and horses enjoying a welcome break between the competitions.

Cattle penning will be back at the North Thompson Agriplex one more time this spring on May 28 and 29.
