The North Thompson Fish and Game Club’s annual Wild Game Dinner & Dance and Silent Auction was once again a great success. Attendees report there were multiple dishes of “fantastic food”, and the delicious wild game and fish served up by head chef Bob Sorenson was “cooked to perfection”.

Sorensen put on a fantastic spread, and was a very popular fellow when he started carving up two delicious wild game roasts.

“We had lots of great food and an awesome time was had by all,” reported NTF&G rep Bryan Smith, “A big thank you to all who attended and to the members and volunteers that made this community event such a great evening.”

Smith notes that the club’s First Annual Poker Run will be coming up on Saturday, May 25, with a 9 a.m. start riding the Gorman Lake area for this rain or shine event.

“Make sure your vehicle is licensed and insured,” said Smith, “And that you have all your safety gear – helmet, goggles, gloves and boots.”
