The Barriere Park Show & Shine held in Fadear Park on Sunday, July 8, was held under sunny skies and welcomed over 100 participants to the event which was presented by R&C Automotive and supported by numerous sponsors and volunteers.
There were all manner of vehicles and motorcycles on display, a swap meet, vendors, music, and plenty of socializing.
Organizer James Secord advised the event was held to raise money to assist in building a skateboard park in the community and that is just what it did, adding over $2,100 to the project fund.
The Show & Shine was a grand success and people are already talking about next year’s event.
