Barriere RCMP advise they have been notified by a concerned resident that in the evening hours of Aug. 14, 2020, three to four youth males of unknown further description were observed trying door handles on vehicles at a property in the area of Glentanna and Barriere Town Road. “A local resident scared them off and they are not believed to have departed with any stolen property,” reports Cpl. Rob Welsman, “RCMP are asking Barriere residents to be on the lookout for this sort of activity and to secure all vehicles and valuables as part of their 9 p.m. routine.
