Timber Mart owners, Shawn and Suzie Fadear, received a plaque and award from Kamloops – North Thompson MLA and Minister of Health Terry Lake in recognition of Timber Mart being named the Barriere Business of the Year for 2016 from 12 nominees. The Barriere and Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards were held on Nov. 12 at the fall fair hall with some 80 people in attendance. The runners up were Quality Contracting and Barriere IDA Pharmacy.
