The week of April 21 to 27, 2013, is marked as B.C. Arts and Culture Week.

This BC-wide celebration of all things art and culture, turns the spotlight on the vital contribution that the arts make in learning and in life.

Hundreds of arts councils, communities and schools across the province will be joining the fun by presenting a dazzling range of events and activities from pop-up dance performances to art crawls, exhibitions, open mics and much more.

In Barriere, the North Thompson Arts Council (NTAC) is pleased to announce the date and location of their 6th Annual Celebration of the Arts Festival.

Youngsters can join in the fun by trying their hand at painting inside the kid’s booth, where a large whitewashed board will be set up for them to paint on.
