The British Columbia Agriculture Exposition (BCAE) took place in Barriere at the North Thompson Fall Fair (NTFF) grounds on Sept. 20 - 23 and was another exciting weekend showcasing the hard work and dedication of 4-H kids in the Interior.
This year’s live auction was on Monday, Sept. 23 kicking off with the early morning RBC sponsored complimentary buyers’ breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the Agriplex curling arena.
The live auction for high quality beef and lamb began at 10 a.m. in the beef ring in the NTFF Agriplex. Champions sold first, and the livestock sale order was determined by their placings in the market classes. *

Julieanne Puhallo-Brown, vice chair of the BC Ag Expo said, "Since 4-H is a worldwide organization, the program is extensive and in B.C. the projects include beef, sheep, photography, small engine, and gardening categories. A real variety of projects kids can choose from. We are all so proud of what these hard-working kids have achieved this year."
