Nine Interior Savings branch managers, a United Way representative, and the community development coordinator from Interior Community Services, Karen Rosenke, joined together last Friday at Barriere House for a ‘Day of Caring’, and fence painting.
“This is a their of giving back to the communities in the region through a day of volunteering,” said Barriere House program coordinator Terry Johnson, “We are most appreciative of Interior Savings and for United Way for connecting us with them to help paint our fence. We also want to thank Interior Community Services for partnering with Barriere House.”
There are currently six people who reside in Barriere House and call it home.
