At the annual Gilbert Smith Forest Products (GSFP) Christmas party in Barriere on Saturday, Dec. 3, the GSFP crew and guests enjoyed some lively entertainment with a good old fashioned show of moustaches, as a result of supporting the world wide Movember movement regarding men’s health.

Prizes were handed out to the crew (Mo Bros.)for their efforts in growing facial hair.  Categories were for best, fullest, biggest stashes, and biggest facial hair change.

The facial hair challenge was presented to the GSFP crew at the beginning of November, along with a pledge from the company for a $100 sponsorship for the top recipient in each category.    The additional $260 was raised during the evening as a result of a very lively shaving demonstration.

With the generosity and good will of GSFP and the GSFP crew, $660 will go towards supporting Prostate Cancer Initiatives.

Movember funds support a broad range of innovative, world-class programs in line with strategic goals in the areas of awareness and education, survivorship, and research.
