Highway 5 has reopened as of Monday morning after being closed in both directions 20 kilometres south of Blue River on Sunday.
According to DriveBC, the closure was due to a “vehicle incident” at the Messiter Summit Rest Area.
Reports on social media indicate a semi-truck lost its load in the area.
